Choosing the right style for you pooch can be difficult if you don't know what the different styles will look like or what maintenance  they require. Below are some examples of the styles you can have with your breed.


Shih Tzu / Lhasa Apso:
Full Coated / Show Cut

This Style involves a bath, groom,blow dry and tidy up. Feet and pads are trimmed, over the eyes and round the bum area. All other furnishings are left long with a slight trim if required.
 
This style requires regular home grooming and professional grooms at Posh Pooches once every 4-6 weeks.
Long Teddy Bear Cut

This style involves a bath, groom and blow dry. The face is trimmed round, with either bobbed ears to match the length of the face or long ears if you prefer. Furnishings are left full but trimmed. Short over eyes, round feet and round bum.
 
This style requires regular home grooming and professional grooms at Posh Pooches once every 6-8 weeks.
Short Cut

This style is short on the body with short legs and skirt to prevent matting. Face is trimmed short and round with short ears or left long if you prefer. Tail is trimmed.
 
This style requires regular home grooming and professional grooms at Posh Pooches once every 8-10 weeks.
Short Teddy Bear Cut

This style is shorter on the body than the long teddy bear style. The furnishings are trimmed short to prevent matting. Ears can be left long or trimmed in line with the face. Tail can be trimmed or left long.
 
This style requires regular home grooming and professional grooms at Posh Pooches once every 8 weeks.
Very Short Cut

This style involves a very short cut on the body, no skirt and no leg furnishings. Tail is trimmed short and face and ears are also clipped short.
 
This style requires occassional home grooming and professional grooms at Posh Pooches once every 12 weeks.
